A captured venue transformed into a browser-based 3D experience. Visitors can inspect the space and get a feel for its atmosphere before they arrive.
THE PROJECT
A real place, ready to share.
The challenge
How can a remote visitor understand the atmosphere and layout of a real cafe through a shareable link? This project explores that question with a capture of Maikada Cafe, without assuming a customer problem or sales outcome.
The solution
We captured the physical space and processed the scan into a photorealistic 3D scene. A browser page makes the scene accessible without installing an app.
The experience
Visitors can look around, switch between the café room and lounge, and use Orbit, Explore or Fly controls to navigate the scene.
The technology
The original Gaussian-splat PLY is preserved as the master. A complete browser-ready version is derived from it so the scene can be shared online while the source remains available for future improvements.
The result so far
The complete 3D capture and this project page are available online. We have not measured booking, sales or visitor-impact outcomes for this project.
